It has been over year since apple released its last version of Final cup pro (FCP), the professional video editing software from apple. Video editor who love the software have been wondering if Apple had given up on developing the software further.

Well you can be rest assured now that final cup pro is still being developed. It is rumored that Apple will release final cut pro 8 or FCP 8 in the spring of this year.

Two leaked emails reportedly from Apple owner, Steve Jobs, talks about an apple product that will be coming soon and how people should anticipate it and how awesome it will be.

Well I have heard rumors that a new release of final cut pro 8 is very close.

Reports say that Apple has already tested the software with a group of pro video editors at its campus. Apple is making finishing touches to the new release and wanted to seek input from professional video editors. Apple’s final cut pro is in the same league as Avid and Adobe Premiere. People who have reviewed the soon to be released version are rumored to have said, “this will be the biggest update of Final Cut Pro since it was first developed some 10 years ago.”

Rumors say the user interface had been totally redesigned and it will look very awesome. It appears to be a total overhauling of the FCP and video editors will love the new FCP 8 when it is released this spring.

Video editing professionals will be happy to know that Apple is not refocusing their attention on mass consumers and neglecting the pros.

Rumors say the New Final Cup Pro 8 (FCP 8) will be launched in spring of 2011 to coincide with the National Association of Broadcasters conference so watch out for that.

The New Apple Final Cut Overview and Release Date


It seems like the Apple products rumors will never end. Well it’s time to throw in another rumor in the Apple rumor mill bag. It’s been more than one year since the last version of Apple’s Fina Cut Pro was released.

Since that time rumors have been reported of emails leak from Apple founder Steve Jobs discussing a product that most people thought Apple had forgotten about. But no one knew what products those emails were talking about.

Now it is being rumored that the much talked about product is a renewed version of Final Cut Pro 8.

According to Techcrunch, a small team of video editors went to the Apple offices to test drive the new Final Cut Pro. According to the report, this will be the biggest revamp of the software since it was first released some 10 years ago. It said Apple were now in the final stages of developing the software and wanted pro video editors to test it and give feedback.

It is also rumored that the new version of the Final Cut Pro software will encompass all from low level architectural tweaks to total remake of the user interface. Techcrunch reports the new version will also be available in 64-bit as users have demanded.

New Apple’s Final Cut Pro Release Date

According to sources, the new version of Apple’s Final Cut Pro will be have a release date in spring 2011. This will probably be at the same time as the conference of the National Association of Broadcasters.

According to those fortunate enough to have tried the demo, the new version will have “dramatic and ambitious” changes. This will surely put the bed concerns of pro video editors that Apple has shifted attention to the consumer user when it comes to it’s video editing software. Many thought apple had abandoned the FCP .
