Are banks open on President’s Day?

Today is the presidents day which happens to be a federal holiday. So most banks and financial businesses will close to observe the day.

The same applies for most of the post offices. However, some privately owned institutions such as FedEx and DHL will be opened for business.

Banks will be opened again on Tuesday, Februrary 22.

Make sure you call your bank to be certain before going to their premises.

Also most governemt institutions and offices will be closed today as well.
