Full story..

I walked into a bathroom at the mall.
I felt a man follow me.
Instinct kicked in and I decided to go back, but he was getting close.

Suddenly, I remembered one comment saying,
“If you think you’re being followed, calmly turn and make eye contact.”

So I stopped, turned around, looked him straight in the eyes, and asked,
“Can I help you with something?”

He immediately froze.
His expression changed — caught off guard.
He stammered something like, “Oh, sorry,” and turned around and walked away quickly.

I stood there for a second, my heart pounding, but I felt in control.
It might have just been nothing…
But maybe it wasn’t.

Moral of the story:
Trust your gut.
Speak up.
Make yourself seen.
Better to feel awkward than unsafe.
